Notes: This comes from a truck that was involved in a house fire. much of the paint was blistered off, and surface rust does exist, however the panels are solid without rust issues, or dents. Would work great once sanded down to bare metal and repainted.

The build up begins…

We start with a frame, newly cleaned by sandblasting.

Then add a touch of Magic Sauce To come up with:

There are some cracks we will need to grind out and weld up, before the final coat. I thought the Herculiner was going to be black, but i think the gray will work well for the frame. As long as its coated, and not going to rust im happy though.

The cat… err… The frame came back the very next week..

Wow! What a difference! Im glad we decided to sand blast it. There is no way it would have reached this level of clean by hand, or with a sander.

This truck was involved in a house fire, and the truck was burned to the back of the cab. its messy but the panels are straight and the metal is good, having only light surface rust where the paint burned away. pricing lower than the doors from the 73 due to the fire.

The frame leaves home…

The frame is completely torn down, and re loaded on the trailer to go get cleaned up at the sand blaster. The front and rear cross members and the spring shackles were removed, and as much dirt/gunk as possible was removed. Should we deport all that Canadian dirt, or just Annex it?
